Welcome to Scholarship English
We are currently developing resources to support your Scholarship endeavours. Below is our Padlet with some of the texts often used at Scholarship level. Underneath each title are some themes to consider as well as a link to our catalogue and a link to either an eBook version or and eAudio version. Ms. Hill has read most of them, so feel free to chat with her about your choices. PLEASE ask if you need a copy of a text that appears to be out - we may have one hiding out the back somewhere!
Also provided is the JStor link which will lead you to a wealth of literary criticism on your chosen text. Instructions on how to log in are below the Padlet. Ms. Hill has also printed out articles from different sources (JStor and beyond) if you would like to read, copy, or scan them to yourself - these are held in the CHS Library. Just ask!

JStor is provided by Cashmere High School Library as a paid subscription for a myriad of academic articles used to support Y12, Y13 and Scholarship level study across the different curricula areas.
It is SO simple to log in - just click the log in button on the top right of the screen and use your Cashmere High School credentials to log in. When it says up the top: 'Access provided by Cashmere High School', you're in! Search using keywords as opposed to a sentence. There is also an AI function that helps you access what you need - the usual conditions apply to AI information as it sometime hallucinates and supplies incorrect information. |
