Welcome to your 'Breathe Easy' page.
Here you will find a collection of resources for you (lists of print books and digital webpages and tools) to help you with your research. Remember, this is only the beginning - you then have to find the information INSIDE these resources and take notes before you can use the information to create your own work in your own words. If you are unsure about what constitutes plagiarism, please check with your teacher or Library Staff.
Start by thinking about what you already know and think about some keywords you could use to search for more information. Wikipedia is good for getting an idea of what your subject is about BUT you will need to use other sites and books for your actual research. Wikipedia does not pass the CRAP test but can provide useful references at the bottom of the page for further research. Used sensibly it can be a useful resource. Using a clustering search engine will elicit some good results so decide on your search keywords and use some of the tools/sites listed below.
Keywords you may choose to use might be: predation, parasitism, mutualism etc. or you may like to group the words in your search such as "gas exchange adaptations" to narrow down the results. Or you could combine both (remembering the quotation marks to keep groups of words together) but be careful not to narrow your search too much or you may eliminate some very useful sites.
Have a look at these tools to get an idea of some of the places you can search:
